These pillow covers are made with a children's book published in 1954 on linen cloth. Even though the cover says that the book is washable and non-toxic, be aware this was in 1954 and standards have changed. Pillows are for decorative purposes only.

Each cover is made for a 14 X 14 pillow insert. The book pages have been washed and ironed. You can tell this book was well loved by a child in the fifties. Now it can be well-loved in the new century!

These pillows come from a book published in 1966 called Animals. The material used for the pillows is the softest seersucker you can imagine. It was once a coverlet from the 40's and over the years has been washed to a supple feel and faded appearance.

This is an example of the back of the pillow. It has an envelope closure so it can close neatly and be removed for easy clean up.
